The SAA Standards Committee will be hosting our annual business meeting next
Thursday, July 21st from 12-1:30pm EST/11a-12:30p CST/10-11:30a MST/9-10:30 PST! This year, our meeting will feature updates from the committee and our constituency groups, and our main program will focus on talking about/demystifying the standards creation and revision process. Standards Committee will overview of the revision and creation process, then we will have presentations by speakers who have recently revised a standard, are working on developing a new standard, and who can share more about how SAA Council makes decisions based on recommendations. We invite anyone who has worked on a standard in the past, anyone who thinks they might in the future, or anyone who just wants to learn more about this process to join us!
