Hello, Annual Meeting Attendees!
We are still in need of volunteers to staff the tables for the National Disaster Recovery Fund for Archives Silent Auction. The auction will take place on Monday and Tuesday, August 25th and 26th, on the Hilton Anaheim's second floor by the meeting registration area.
Monitoring the Silent Auction is easy and fun! Hundreds of SAA conference attendees stop by each year to look over the items, so working at the tables is a great way to network and to connect with friends and acquaintances. We know you're at the conference to attend sessions, but most sessions are being recorded, so you can watch them later. Your efforts will make a significant difference in the success of this important event. And if you volunteer for the auction, you can still bid on our incredible items!

On next page, hit "Sign Up Now"
Differing slightly depending on your timing, volunteer responsibilities include:
helping to set up (morning/opening shifts only) and pack up (late afternoon shifts only) the auction items and supplies,
helping to keep the tables of items and bid sheets neat and clear,
answering questions, handing out Auction FAQs sheets,
promoting the auction on social media,
and helping to contact winners and verify their donations when distributing their items (Tuesday afternoon only).
