The Case Studies on Teaching with Primary Sources is pleased to announce the publication of the 23rd article in the series. Kristen Nyitray and Christine Fena from Stony Brook University explore the use of historical cookbooks in "More than Recipes: Enriching a Campus Common Read with Historical Cookbooks." Nyitray and Fena used the Newman Cookbook Collection from the Special Collection and University Archives to connect to the "One Book, One Community" campus common read through online programming.

Sponsored by the Reference, Access, and Outreach section, the Case Studies on Teaching with Primary Sources is an open-ended, peer-reviewed series designed to illustrate application of the Guidelines for Primary Source Literacy. For more information, see How to Submit a Teaching with Primary Sources Case Study.
