Navigators needed! There has been very strong interest from first time attendees this year for the SAA Navigator Program, and so Navigators are in high demand. We still need approximately 7 navigator volunteers so that every navigatee application can be matched. Please consider volunteering by completing the form here:

The Navigator Program is a short-term networking opportunity that matches experienced Annual Meeting attendees with newer meeting attendees, or anyone who is interested in receiving guidance on the Annual Meeting or networking. Navigators share their experience, advise navigatees on sessions and special events that are likely to suit their interests, and facilitate networking with other attendees. Program participants are welcome to chat over a virtual coffee, tea, or lunch, and talk about SAA, careers, goals, challenges, life experiences; whatever you like that would be helpful to the newer attendee. This year, the Navigator Program and SAA Mentoring Program are partnering to bring you a virtual or in-person Navigator Program.
The deadline to volunteer as a navigator is Monday, July 28. You'll be contacted about a match in the second week of August.
Thank you,
Margaret Gamm (mgamm@loc.gov)
