The annual meeting of the Congressional Papers Section will be held Tuesday, July 19 at 1pm CT. Register for the event here. This year's meeting will feature:
- Digital "lighting" talks featuring members of CPS's Electronic Records Committee
- This session will feature discussions about how to initiate conversations with congressional staff about technology, social media preservation and recovery, and working with congressional IT.
- Patron and researcher outreach "lightning" talks
- This session will feature talks about emerging researcher needs and how archivists are responding to them.
- "Great Question!" / "No such thing as a stupid question" session
- An open session for CPS members to tap into the expertise of fellow members, find validation, voice confusion or challenges and build community.
