Call for Nominations – Web Archiving Section Steering Committee
Are you interested in web archiving and looking for a way to engage more deeply with the SAA community? Consider joining the Web Archiving Section Steering Committee! This is a great opportunity to connect with peers, contribute to the profession, and support advocacy and awareness around the critical work of selecting, appraising, harvesting, managing, and preserving web-based resources.
Participating on the Steering Committee requires a small monthly time commitment-typically 1–2 hours-and offers valuable experience in leadership and collaboration. Monthly virtual meetings are held as needed, and attendance at the annual SAA meeting is not required. All SAA members in good standing, including students and early-career professionals, are encouraged to apply!
We are currently seeking nominations for the following open positions:
· Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect (term: 2025-2027)
· Communications Manager (term: July 2025-2026)
· Student Member (term: July 2025-2026)
