Come join the P & C team! The Society of American Archivists (SAA) Privacy & Confidentiality Section is currently seeking nominations for:

Vice-chair/chair-elect (3-year term; one year as vice-chair, one as chair, and one as past chair)

Two steering committee members (2-year term)
All are encouraged to apply for these positions, including students and early-career archivists, but candidates must be current SAA members and members of this section. You don't have to be an expert; you just have to have an interest in driving the conversation about privacy and confidentiality issues within archives!
To apply, please submit this Nomination Form by May 19, 2023. As part of your self-nomination, you'll be asked to provide a brief biography and candidate statement addressing the question: "What projects or initiatives would you be interested in pursuing as part of the Privacy and Confidentiality Section leadership?"
If you're not ready to run yourself, but have a colleague who'd be a great fit, you're also encouraged to nominate others--we'll reach out to them to confirm their willingness to run.
