Hi all,
The deadline to submit an application for CLIR
Digitizing Hidden Collections Symposium Travel Awards is Tuesday, May 31!
At the Symposium, the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) will bring together grant recipients from over 100 projects funded by the
Digitizing Hidden Collections program to address challenges today's collecting organizations face as they digitize hidden collections and make them accessible, and pose the question "What's next?" The event will take place in Baltimore, MD, on October 12-13 as an Affiliated Event of the
DLF Forum and will be open to the public.
Thanks to generous support from Mellon Foundation, we are able to offer more than 50 travel awards to presenters and attendees. Awards are offered in the following categories:
- Digitizing Hidden Collections Grantees (2015-2020 projects)
- DHC: Amplifying Unheard Voices Grantees (2022 projects)
- Students & New Professionals
- Review Panelists
- Interested Members of the Wider Community
Travel awards for the Symposium will include:
- A stipend for up to $1,200 to be used towards transportation, accommodations, and food
- A complimentary registration for the Digitizing Hidden Collections Symposium ($200 value)
We currently have far fewer than 50 applications (!), so please share the opportunity with anyone who may be interested in attending.
