    The 2022 National Medal recipients are:

    ·    St. Louis County Library (St. Louis, MO)

    ·    Wilmington Institute Free Library (Wilmington, DE)

    ·    Asheville Art Museum (Asheville, NC)

    ·    Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture (Seattle, WA)

    ·    Oakland Museum of California (Oakland, CA)

    About the National Medals

     

    The IMLS National Medal is the nation's highest honor given to museums and libraries for community service. Over the past 25 years, the award has celebrated institutions throughout the nation that have demonstrated extraordinary and innovative approaches to public service.
