The Wolfson Archives at Miami Dade College in downtown Miami has reached a milestone this year: it is our 40th anniversary! If you're in the South Florida area, join us on Wednesday, April 16, as we celebrate four decades of film and video preservation with a series of events:
OPEN HOUSE, 1pm-5pm: Stop by for a personal tour of our facility and demonstrations of our preservation processes. Free and open to the public; no RSVP needed.
RECEPTION, 5:30pm-6:30pm: Enjoy light refreshments as you meet and greet Wolfson Archives' staff, take a tour, or see a demonstration of our film and video preservation process. Free and open to the public; RSVP:

PROGRAM, 6:30pm-7:30pm: Acknowledgements/remarks followed by the premiere of a special audio-visual program by media artist Barron Sherer to commemorate 40 years of the Wolfson Archives. Discussion and Q&A following. Free and open to the public; RSVP:

Everything will take place in our facility on Miami Dade College's Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami in room 8406 and in classroom 8401.
