The Women Archivists Section Steering Committee is accepting nominations for committee leadership roles. We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and thoughtful leaders who can spearhead Women Archivists Section projects and participate in its continued essential work for the profession. Please consider running or suggesting nominations to current Section leadership.
Open positions include:
- ONE Vice Chair/Chair-elect for a three-year term (Chair in second year, Immediate Past Chair in third year)
- TWO Steering Committee Members for a three-year term
The last day for nominations is May 30th!
If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please contact me with the following information:
- Candidate Name
- Job Title and Institution
- High resolution Headshot (optional)
- Bio and Candidate Statement (1-2 paragraphs)
All nominees must be current members of SAA. If you are nominating someone else, please verify that they are willing to run before submitting their nomination.
For questions about elections, please contact me or any of your Women Archivists Section steering committee members. Ballots will be managed by SAA staff. Please keep an eye on your inbox for when the ballot opens!
