    Hello! 

    Would you like to learn how the SAA Preservation Section puts together its annual National Disaster Recovery Fund for Archives (NDRFA) Silent Auction? Can you contribute a few hours between now and the SAA Annual Meeting to help coordinate the most successful NDRFA Silent Auction ever? The Preservation Section is looking for new members for the NDRFA Silent Auction Committee. We need both remote advance help and committee members who can assist in person during the Annual Meeting, Sunday, August 24, 2025 - Wednesday, August 27, 2025, in Anaheim, CA. 

    Committee tasks before the event will include:
    • attending a half-dozen or so virtual meetings of an hour or less (usually less);
    • brainstorming ways to make the auction a success and to improve it;
    • coming up with ideas on how to publicize the Silent Auction and attract donors and bidders;
    • helping to publicize the auction via various communications channels;
