    Dear colleagues,

    The Walter P. Reuther Library, Archives of Labor and Urban Affairs at Wayne State University is seeking candidates for two open positions. Both positions are full-time, regular, 12-month, benefits-eligible appointments as Academic Staff, and AAUP-AFT represented positions with eligibility for promotion.

    We are seeking candidates for the role of Digital Curation and Preservation Archivist (Archivist II/III). The successful candidate will join a user-centered community of colleagues pursuing innovative and transformative approaches to archival work. Reporting to the Reuther Library Director, the position will provide leadership and vision in developing sustainable digital preservation infrastructure, policies, and workflows, and work closely with peer Archivists to oversee the long-term preservation and use of born-digital and digitally reformatted collections.     We are also seeking a service-oriented individual for the role of Processing Archivist I. The successful candidate will arrange and describe mixed-format and born-digital collections to promote accessibility, discovery, and use. They will also report to the Reuther Library Director.
