TPS Fest is back! The 2026 version will come to you again over three weeks, like we did last week. The dates will be:
- Thu, July 9, 2026
- Wed, July 15, 2026
- Tue, July 21, 2026
Some ACTION ITEMS and THINGS TO NOTE:
- The TPS Fest 2026 website is live: https://tpscollective.org/events-and-opportunities/tpsfest2026/! This is our home for dates, session info (later this spring), registration details, etc.
- If you are thinking about presenting at TPS Fest 2026, now's your chance! Similar to last year, we have a collaboration spreadsheet if you are looking for fellow speakers or co-conspirators. This spreadsheet is available now, and we encourage you add to it and/or respond to topics of interest. Please read the help text at the top (I promise we wrote it for a reason) and collaborate away!
- Also, as with last year, we will also have a session submission form. This is not a peer-review process and it is not particularly complicated, but it serves as a way for the session organizers to have contacts, information to begin creating the schedule, and help with organizing generally. The session submission form will be live SOON (i.e. in the next week or so) and we'll share the link (via the collaboration spreadsheet and email) when it's ready. Note that you do not need to use the collaborator spreadsheet to submit a session, if you have an idea that is ready to go--you can just submit it when the form is live.
- Kira Dietz will be leading the session organizing volunteers again this year, so you're welcome to reach out to tpsfest@tpscollective.org or to Kira directly (kadietz@vt.edu) if you have questions or issues with the sheet or form.
- Your friendly TPS organizers are also considering "pop-up" sessions this year as part of our fest, so stay tuned for more information on that as we get closer to summer.
