    SAA Education has three new webinars coming this fall. Registration for some of these webcasts is limited, so be sure to sign up now!

    • Strengthening DEIA Goals through Collaboration. Join instructors Azalea Camacho and Amalia Castañeda to develop and strengthen partnerships centered on DEIA principals. Learn how to prioritize these principals in your outreach initiatives to create and sustain authentic partnerships. This webinar takes places September 6 at 3:00 p.m. CT.
    • Tribal Relations: Consultation Tools for Archive Managers Working with Tribal Communities. Indigenous cultural competence and awareness are essential skills for for non-Indigenous archives managers in building respectful partnerships with Tribal communities. Instructors Vina Begay and Alex Soto walk students through cultural understanding to develop respectful communication and collaboration with Tribal communities. This webinar takes place September 13 at 3:00 p.m. CT.
    • Navigating Barriers to Ethical Labor Practices. In this webinar, instructors Kaetrena Davis Kendrick, Chris Tanguay, and Sheridan Sayles explore concerns around emotional labor, precarity, and inequitable workload in the archives, and tackle ways to identify systemic problems, implement more inclusive hiring practices, recognize exploitative and ableist job practices, and more.
