Dear Colleagues,
We are sending this request to invite information professionals (library, archives, museum staff) who work with primary source materials to participate in a survey research study to learn about how libraries describe and contextualize primary source materials that contain potentially difficult content. This research is being conducted by a team at the University of North Texas Libraries, and it is entitled "Investigating Descriptive Practices for Potentially Harmful Cultural Heritage Materials." We would greatly appreciate you providing your input as an information professional through the online survey linked below. The survey will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
You might want to participate in this research study if you want to share your views, knowledge, or experience as an information professional who works with primary source materials. You will not receive compensation for participation, beyond contributing to knowledge in the wider profession. You may not choose to participate if you are not an information professional who works with primary source materials at your institution.
