Hello all! I am a student in Simmons University's online MLIS program with a concentration in archival management. This semester I have been doing an independent study on my area of interest: ethics of human remains within archives. As part of this project, I have developed a survey for individuals who work in archives!
***
You are invited to take a survey that we are conducting on human remains in archival collections. We are interested in learning about practices and policies on human remains in collections. Please answer as many of the following questions as you wish based on your own experience. Your participation is voluntary. You may decline to participate or discontinue your participation at any time. If there are any questions you do not feel comfortable answering, you may skip them. You may withdraw from the survey at any time. The survey should take you about 15-30 minutes to complete. All of your responses will be recorded anonymously.

If you have questions about the research, please contact me, Anna Marie Schuldt, at schuldta@simmons.edu. Also you may contact my faculty advisor, Professor Kathy Wisser. Her email address is wisser@simmons.edu. If you have questions about your rights as a human subject, you may also contact the Human Protections Administrator in the Office of Sponsored Programs at Simmons University at irbprotocols@simmons.edu.
Completion of the survey implies your consent to participate. Thank you for participating in this survey.
