The Performing Arts Section of the Society of American Archivists (SAA-PAS) is looking for volunteers to fill two Newsletter Editor positions starting immediately.
The Newsletter Editors work with the steering committee and would be tasked with soliciting contributions, editing, and designing the reactivated section newsletter, Performance! These are volunteer positions, but would be great experience if you are entering the field or are established and want to lend a hand.
The SAA-Performing Arts Section (SAA-PAS) provides a collaborative space for early-career and established archivists, students, interns, and other library and information science professionals interested in the world of performing arts archives.
The SAA-PAS hosts a regular series of casual, virtual events featuring archivists speaking on a range of topics relating to performing arts archives and collections. There also will be opportunities to contribute topics for this series as well as for programming at the section's (virtual) business meeting at the SAA Annual Meeting.
