Please forgive cross-postings; thank you.
Good day archives and archives-adjacent colleagues,
Thank you to all of you who have generously participated in my survey and research! While the return numbers and response rate have been very encouraging, I am writing today to appeal to those of you who have not yet participated.
To remind, my name is Karen Trivette and I am a PhD candidate, 3rd Bologna Cycle, in Archival Science at Alma Mater Europaea-European Center Maribor. I am also a long-time member of SAA. My doctoral research centers around archives arrangement.
I am questioning if a standardized form, model, or method of archival records arrangement would more successfully respect and document the organic contexts of an institution's natural business modalities and their resulting archival records.
To help me answer this question, I respectfully ask you to assist me with my PhD research by answering 16 questions. Your time commitment will be no longer than 20 minutes and all responses will be confidential. I am prepared to share the results of my findings with all respondents.
You may access the survey here:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/archivist2023
You are also most welcome to share this survey widely as you deem relevant.
If you would like to know more about me, then please feel free to visit my website at karenjtrivette.net.
I am more than happy to field any questions or concerns. I thank you very much for considering my request and for your kind participation!
Sincerely,
Karen
