| Dear colleagues, The Accessioning, Acquisitions, and Appraisal (AA&A) Section Steering Committee is happy to announce the Section's Annual Meeting agenda and open registration. The meeting will be held virtually on Tuesday, July 23 from 2 PM-3:30 PM EST/1 PM-2:30 PM CST/11 AM-12:30 PM PST. Following an update on annual section business, join members of the National Best Practices for Archival Accessioning Working Group to learn more about the soon-to-be published guidelines! Kate Dundon, Jaime Henderson, and Haian Abdirahman will provide an overview of the working group, progress on work completed since February 2024, and what the community can expect next. They will also facilitate a discussion on key points pertaining to the most popular topics of the guidelines as determined by their poll in a recent Triple A talk, as well as a reflection on the core principles that guide accessioning work.
