    Posted 9 days ago

Sharing a reminder that the Committee on Research, Data, and Assessment (CORDA) is hosting a virtual workshop on "Creating and Conducting Focus Groups for Archivist Researchers" on Wednesday March 19, 2025 at 12pm CT/1pm ET. Led by Elliott Kuecker (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Information and Library Science), this workshop will teach participants how to design a focus group, conduct it, and the basics of analyzing the results. Participants will also be able to brainstorm the kinds of research questions that the focus group method can reasonably help answer, getting them started on their own paths of inquiry.

Registration is limited to a max of 50 participants, but a recording of the workshop's lecture portions will be made available on CORDA's microsite (the interactive and Q&A portions will not be recorded).

A full description of the workshop and the registration link can be found on our microsite. Please send any questions or registration issues to CORDASAA@gmail.com

We hope to see you there!
