The UX Section Steering Committee is excited to announce the Section’s Annual Business Meeting agenda and open registration. The meeting will be held virtually Friday, May 15, from 2-3:30 PM EST.
The meeting will feature presentations by several authors represented in the upcoming Spring/Summer issue of the American Archivist's Special Section on User Experience. Presentation topics will focus on building UX capacity in archives via a newly-developed UX maturity mode; research on the motivations and behaviors of online archival users; and an evaluation on the impact of access restrictions on researchers.
The meeting will also include Council updates, updates from the Steering Committee about initiatives and programming, and discussion of projects undertaken by the Section’s working groups on UX principles and UX work in institutional archives. Time will also be set aside to discuss future initiatives for the Section and for attendees to provide feedback about how the Section can offer more opportunities for the archival community.
