The UX Section Steering Committee is happy to announce the Section's Annual Business Meeting agenda and open registration. The meeting will be held Friday, July 12 from 12 PM-1:30 PM EST/11 AM-12:30 EST/9 AM-10:30 AM PST.
Held virtually, the User Experience Section Annual Business Meeting will include updates from the Steering Committee regarding the Standing Rules and special election positions, as well as planning for sub-groups and the drafting of a statement of principles for user experience work in the archival field. Other updates will include the founding members' announcement regarding a proposed special section of American Archivist in 2026 and an opportunity for community input on what topics and types of articles members would like to see. The meeting will also include guest speakers representing the National Park Service, Princeton University, and ITHAKA, who will discuss user experience projects they have overseen.
