Join the SAA Students and New Archives Professionals (SNAP) section on Saturday, November 1st at 2pm EST/11am PST in getting some job search advice from SAA Career Counselor Michelle Ganz. This presentation will cover how to create an effective resume/CV and how to prepare for interviews. Plus, Michelle will discuss inclusive strategies for job-searching for people with disabilities, as well as approaches for dealing with the job search's impact on mental health. All are welcome to join and questions are encouraged! Questions may be asked live or submitted anonymously through the form included in the registration.

About the Speaker
Michelle Ganz is the Archives Director for the Dominican Sisters of Peace. She has previously worked in academic, museum, corporate, and private archives. She has spoken about Disability, Accessibility and Inclusion for most of her career and works to support others who speak on the topic. Michelle has been a mentor for over fifteen years working to help first generation graduates, BIPOC, disabled, and queer people navigate the professional world. She is also the editor of the forthcoming Bloomsbury book A Practical Guidebook to Trauma-Informed Archival Practice: Best Practices and Case Studies, out in February 2026.
