In December 2022, SAA members and Council met to discuss changes to the SAA Constitution and Bylaws. After receiving insightful feedback from SAA membership, the proposed changes are scheduled for a vote this fall.
This is the first time in many years that the Council has conducted a comprehensive review and revision of all aspects of the constitution and bylaws. Given current best practices, it is important to align both documents into one and make sure all content is consistent with the practices of SAA. All full individual members, student members, and primary contacts of institutional members who are in good standing will be eligible to vote in the referendum.
