In the latest review from the Intergenerational Conversations series on the American Archivist Reviews Portal, Caitlin Birch (James Madison University Libraries) considers Robert H. Bahmer's presidential address, "The Management of Archival Institutions" (American Archivist, 1963). Birch writes, "I am not the manager Bahmer had in mind.... And yet a surprising degree of what he wrote is recognizable in the archival landscape of today, although perhaps not in the ways he might have expected." Read the full review here.
