Greetings from Rare Book School!
Dive into the world of book history with a Rare Book School course this summer! Our five-day intensive courses on the history of manuscript, print, and digital materials will be offered online and in person at the University of Virginia and other partner institutions.
Among our forty-six courses, we are pleased to offer several pertinent to those interested in archival practices and cataloging. The following are a few of the upcoming RBS offerings:

L-30: Rare Book Cataloging, taught by Deborah J. Leslie (Senior Cataloger at the Folger Shakespeare Library), assisted by Amy Tims, from July 5-10 at the Rare Book School in Charlottesville, VA.

L-150: Modern Special Collections Cataloging, taught by Brenna Bychowski (Catalog Librarian at the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library, Yale University), from July 17-24 at the Rare Book School in Charlottesville, VA.

L-165: Literary Manuscripts, taught by Stephen Enniss (Director of the Harry Ransom Center) and Megan Barnard (Associate Director for Administration and Curatorial Affairs at the Harry Ransom Center), from June 7-12 at the Harry Ransom Center in Austin, TX.
