    Hello,

Many thanks to folks that attended the ProjectARCC meet up at SAA 2025. As a follow up get together, ProjectARCC is hosting monthly Climate YAP sessions inviting any and all who need to YAP (aka chat enthusiastically) about climate issues, topics, and how it relates to archival work.

Each month, ProjectARCC will be hosting virtual Climate YAP sessions where attendees from around the world can come chat (aka yapping) about their climate wins, woes, and whatever else might be on their mind or in the air. Consider these informal chats where ProjectARCC community members can discuss ongoing projects, ask for help or advice, as well as share crucial information on Climate Change happenings from around the world.

Each YAP session will have ProjectARCC admin team members help with discussion and to give general project updates.

The next Climate YAP session IS TODAY September 17, 2025 (for some September 18) online via zoom (passcode: YAP)

    • 2 pm pacific time / 5pm eastern time

    • See this online timezone tool to find the meeting time in your time zone

    ABOUT ProjectARCC
Founded on Earth Day in 2015, ProjectARCC is a community of archivists taking action on climate change. We believe that archivists, those responsible for the preservation of history for future generations, should be as passionate and concerned about preserving a habitable and safe planet for future generations. We provide an organizing space for archivists to build coalitions (local, regional and international), collaborate, and share information about climate change, its impact on our profession, and what we can do about it.
