Please join the SAA Performing Arts Section for our next meet and greet on May 14, 2025 at 1:00 pm EST / 10:00 am PST, when our special guests will be representatives from ChromaDiverse.
ChromaDiverse (CD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts services company that helps performing arts organizations preserve, celebrate, and amplify their artistic legacies. CD offers services and digital tools optimized for dance, enabling the presentation of a dance company's historical media in a searchable online format. Our mission extends beyond preservation; we foster public appreciation for the performing arts that transcends generations.
Judy Tyrus, founder of ChromaDiverse (CD) and Eric Waldman, COO will share an example of our work. The presentation will include an overview video of ChromaDiverse and a brief look at the Oakland Ballet Company Legacy Project Portal.
The Oakland Ballet Company Legacy Project is a collaboration between The Ronn Guidi Foundation for Dance, Oakland Ballet Company, and ChromaDiverse, to preserve, protect, and present the important works of this world-renowned dance company.
