Dear SAA Colleagues,
Hello! We are Robin and Lucy, your Newsletter Editors, and we are so excited to be revamping the PAS’s newsletter, Performance!
In the past, the newsletter has been published twice each SAA membership year, usually in the late fall or early winter and in the summer (immediately before or after the annual meeting). The most recent issue was released in Summer/Fall 2022, and after that brief intermission, we are excited for this project to have its second act. Performance! is back, starting this summer!
We are looking for people who are interested in sharing their experiences and accomplishments related to performing arts archives, and we would love to hear from you! At this stage in the process (pun intended), we are only looking for proposals, not finished content. This can be anything from a few sentences, to a whole outline, whatever you feel will best convey the nature of your submission. Even if you just want to introduce yourself, and let us know that you are interested in submitting something down the line, we’d love to hear that too. If you are interested in contributing to Performance!, here is the type of content we are seeking:

Please direct all proposal submissions to: lucymarous@gmail.com by Friday April 24th, at 11:59pm. From there, we will reach out to those who have submitted something about next steps.
