Are you looking for a way to expand your professional network and get more involved in the digital archives and digital preservation community? If so, come join the Electronic Records Section as Vice-Chair/Chair Elect and help support the section while learning from fellow professionals!
This position serves a three year term as Vice-Chair for one year, followed by the Chair position for one year, and then as Immediate Past Chair for one year. This role provides you with valuable leadership experience as you contribute to vital services for your colleagues.
The committee meets once a month as time allows, and a typical time commitment is 1-2 hours per month, depending on projects. Attendance at the annual meeting is not required, and any dues-paying SAA members, including students, are eligible to join.
