The Descriptive Notes editorial team is pleased to announce the publication of a new post in our rolling Inclusive Description series.

In "Reimagine Descriptive Workflows: A Project Summary," Merrilee Proffitt gives an overview of the OCLC Reimagine Descriptive Workflows project and provides a summary of the project report "A Community-Informed Agenda for Reparative and Inclusive Descriptive Practice."

Descriptive Notes welcomes pitches on all topics related to archival description. The editorial team is currently soliciting posts for a series on Project Management. Description, as a function of archives, can require project management skills to complete - whether that's managing a team processing a collection, or determining where description fits inside a workflow. Are you a lone arranger who has to fit in descriptive projects and practices in between your other duties? Do you work in a large repository where description of an archival collection is divided among multiple colleagues? Do you supervise interns who need guidance on descriptive practices related to your institution? Are you a digital content manager who has different descriptive needs than your colleagues working with physical materials? How do you manage these different projects? What project management methodologies and tools do you employ to get the job done? Descriptive Notes wants to hear from you! You can read about our submission guidelines here, or send a query to saadescription@gmail.com.

    Happy reading!
