The Local Government Records Section Steering Committee is seeking new members to run in this year's section election! Steering Committee members help craft responses to SAA Council's requests for comments and feedback, guide any projects that the section undertakes, and organize section meetings. The overall time commitment is small, but the reward is great.
This year are three openings on the Steering Committee: Vice Chair/Chair elect and two Members-at-Large.

-Name + Job Title and Institution- Position Applying for-Government Sector (municipal, other local, state/provincial/tribal, etc.)-Candidate Bio (1-2 sentences)-Candidate Statement (tell the voters why you want to be on the committee in 1-2 paragraphs)
