In less than ten days we welcome archivist and institutional communicator, Estelle OBE ZOGHESSIE, as the guest for our first International Archival Affairs Section (IAAS) Archival Landscapes seminar of the 2025-2026 season. She will be speaking about the archival landscape in her home country of Gabon. Simultaneous interpreters will be available during the event to translate between French and English.

Our Guest Speaker:
Estelle OBE ZOGHESSIE is an archivist and institutional communicator. She has over 15 years of archival experience, from Head of the Private Archives Department at the National Archives of Gabon to a Cabinet Attaché to the President of Gabon. She regularly collaborates with private service providers in the field of archives and teaches part-time at several universities in her country.
She is very active in professional associations: former President of the Association of Documentalists of Gabon (ADG), member of the UNESCO National Memory of the World Committee, Treasurer of the Central Africa Regional Branch of the ICA (CENARBICA), and President of the NGO Archivists Leaders. She advocates for the recognition and modernization of archives in Gabon and Africa in general, and for the development of women's leadership in the field of archives.
