Seeking nominations for the Women Archivists Section!
Are you seeking an opportunity to become more involved in SAA? Are you interested in gender issues in the workplace and in the archives profession? If so, consider joining the Steering Committee of the Women Archivists Section! We are currently seeking nominations for one Co-chair and up to four Steering Committee members.
(1 position) – Co-chairs share leadership of WArS and work with the Steering Committee members on WArS events and projects, plan the annual meeting, and lead the overall direction of the section. The Co-chair serves a two-year term, followed by one year on the steering committee.
(1-2 positions) – Steering Committee members collaborate on a variety of activities and projects, including organizing and participating in online discussions, collaboration with other sections, and working with the co-chairs to organize the annual meeting program. Steering Committee members serve three-year terms.
