    Abstract

This discussion will focus on practical ways to achieve digital accessibility under the new Americans with Disability Act (ADA) regulations. These long-overdue requirements to ensure digital accessibility in educational institutions are best viewed not as a threat but as an opportunity to better serve your current users and to expand the number of users that your institution can reach. Digital accessibility will remain an ongoing process. Incorporating it into all the relevant activities of your institution will promote digital accessibility both to meet the government regulations and, far more significantly, to include disabled people in the materials and activities provided by your institution.
