The Independent Archivists Section is looking for people who would like to expand their involvement with the section by joining our Steering Committee! We are interested in members who are in any stage of their career. Whether you are just getting started or you are a seasoned pro, your perspective and input are valuable here. Please consider nominating yourself or a colleague for one of the leadership positions outlined below. These roles allow the section to serve members by building programs, networking and providing expertise and education for independent archivists. These are volunteer-based roles and depending on which role you are interested in it will determine the time commitment necessary. A monthly meeting and/or coffee chat is required to attend if you are elected, as well as an ability to provide insight and input into programming, etc.
