Descriptive Notes, the blog of the SAA Description Section, is seeking new leadership!
We are currently looking for a new Lead Blog Editor as well as two Editorial Team Members.
The Lead Blog Editor will serve a three-year term, beginning August 2022, directing Descriptive Notes and will also serve as an appointed member of the Description Section Steering Committee. It is the responsibility of the Lead Blog Editor to publish posts to the blog, issue calls for content, and host monthly meetings of the full five-person editorial team. More information about the role of Lead Blog Editor can be found in the Section's standing rules.
The existing editorial team is also looking for two new editorial team members for two-year terms beginning in August 2022. Members of the editorial team help plan, solicit, and edit content for Descriptive Notes. Any current member of the SAA Description Section may apply.
