Hello!
The SNAP Programming team has scheduled a new SNAP-py Hour for Wednesday, July 15th at 9 AM HST / 10 AM PDT / 11AM MDT / 12PM CDT / 3 PM EDT.
Our theme for this SNAPpy Hour is "Looking Back, Planning Ahead." For the first part of our discussion, we invite attendees to discuss summer internships, jobs, or volunteer positions that they worked/are working over the summer and reflect on what they liked, what they did not like, and what they learned.
For the second half, we will focus on upcoming events: the next semester of attendees' LIS programs, interviews or jobs, or just general ideas for future planning. Steering Committee members and others who have experience can offer advice and feedback on future plans.
All are welcome for this informal discussion and to chat with fellow students and new professionals!
To sign up, please fill out this Google form! Emma Powell or Jason Smith, SNAP Programming Co-Chairs, will send all registrants the Zoom link around 24 hours in advance of the session! We hope to see many of you there!
Best,
Emma Powell and Jason Smith
