Curator of Hispanic/Latinx Collections
KU Libraries is hiring a Curator to document the Hispanic/Latinx experience in Kansas and the Great Plains as part of the Kenneth Spencer Research Library's Kansas Collection. We are looking for someone to develop and grow an emerging, community-based collecting program to support the mission of the Libraries and University.
Minimum requirements:
- LIS degree (Master's or PhD) OR graduate degree in relevant field OR ACA certification
- Fluency in written and spoken Spanish
- Prior experience in archives or special collections OR academic background in relevant subject area such as American Studies, Latin American Studies, or History
Minimum salary: $60,000

Curator for the Wilcox Collection of Contemporary Political Movements
KU Libraries is hiring a Curator to grow, managing, and sharing one of the most complete collections of printed material documenting modern American left- and right-wing politics in the country, located in Kenneth Spencer Research Library.
Minimum requirements:
- LIS degree (Master's or PhD) OR graduate degree in relevant field OR ACA certification
- Two years relevant experience in a library, museum, historical society, or similar environment
- Demonstrated academic background in a relevant subject area such as American history, political science, or American Studies
Minimum salary: $60,000
