The Division of Archives and Records in the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources of the State of North Carolina seeks candidates for the position of State Archivist and Records Administrator. The State Archivist is the director of the Division of Archives and Records, a position that encompasses the management of the permanent collections in the State Archives of North Carolina and its satellite offices as well as the statewide records management program for all public records. As administrator of the program, the State Archivist oversees 71 employees in offices located in Raleigh, Manteo, New Bern, and Asheville. The recruitment salary range is $67,852 - $130,000 annually.
