    Head of Digitization (Librarian)

    The University of Texas Libraries seeks a collaborative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated individual to support UT Libraries in its mission to evolve and sustain digital collections for teaching, learning, and research. The Head of Digitization leads digitization planning and operations as an integral part of the Preservation and Digital Stewardship unit. The role supervises the team responsible for digitizing collection materials in a variety of formats, using a range of capture technologies and techniques. The Head of Digitization will collaborate with colleagues across the University of Texas Libraries to identify, plan, and implement projects and initiatives requiring digitization of UT Libraries collection materials for purposes of access and long-term preservation.

    Weekly Scheduled Hours: 40 (full time)

    Position Duration: Expected to Continue

    Salary Range: $60,000+ depending on qualifications

    Earliest Start Date: Mar 15, 2023

    Location: University of Texas at Austin main campus (Perry-Castañeda Library). This position will require onsite work.
