The Iowa Women's Archives (IWA) at the University of Iowa Libraries is seeking an organized, collaborative, and intellectually curious archivist to join the staff as a Collections Archivist. The IWA, founded in 1991, has dedicated itself for over 30 years to collecting and preserving the history of Iowa women, emphasizing underrepresented voices and community engagement. The repository has developed collecting strengths including but not limited to in women in politics, women's athletics, rural women, and the Latino Midwest. As part of the team, the Collections Archivist will plan and carry out accessioning, processing and collections management representing a wide variety of physical and digital formats.
