The Center for Southeast North Carolina Archives and History at UNCW is seeking a new Associate Director to lead our department. This is a 12-month, permanent, renewable, non-tenure track faculty position. The hiring range for the position is $101-107k.
Minimum requirements:
- A master's degree in library, information, or archival sciences from an ALA- accredited institution, or an equivalent advanced degree & relevant experience in archives or special collections
- Five years of increasingly responsible, professional (post-graduate), supervisory work experience in academic special collections administration and leadership, staff supervision and evaluation, collection development, research services, and programming and outreach
- Candidates should have working knowledge of appropriate technologies for managing, processing, digitizing, and making discoverable primary sources and other unique materials
