Randall Library at the University of North Carolina Wilmington is hiring for the Associate Director for Library Specialized Collections/Director of the Center for Southeast North Carolina Archives and History.
The is a 12-month, permanent, renewable, non-tenure track faculty position. Minimum starting salary is $80,535.
Minimum requirements are:
- Master's degree in library, information, or archival sciences from an ALA-accredited institution, OR an equivalent advanced degree and relevant experience in academic archives or special collections
- Five years of increasingly responsible, professional (post-graduate), supervisory work experience in academic special collections administration and leadership, staff supervision and evaluation, collection development, research services, and programming and outreach
- Candidates should have working knowledge of appropriate technologies for managing, processing, digitizing, and making discoverable primary sources and other unique materials
