    The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Accessioning and Processing Archivist, UNLV University Libraries [R0141144].

    Reporting to the Head, Special Collections and Archives Technical Services, the Accessioning and Processing Archivist is dedicated to improving access to and discovery of materials in Special Collections and Archives. This position is responsible for accessioning all incoming collections, and performing arrangement, description, and preservation of archival materials in all formats (print and born-digital). With a commitment to employing efficient archival processing methods, this position will assess collections’ processing needs and their evidential, informational, and research values to make processing recommendations, develop processing plans, and make appraisal recommendations. This position will employ nationally recognized principles, standards, and best practices to assess, plan, and propose a variety of actions to ensure the long-term accessibility and usability of the collections.

    This is a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor (Rank II, tenure-track). Minimum salary is $66,015.
