    The University of the West Indies, with the City University of New York, is pleased to announce the program for the 2024 International Conference on the History of Records and Archives (ICHORA).

     

    From 6 – 8 November, archival scholars will meet in Kingston, Jamaica, to explore colonial, post-colonial and anti-colonial themes in the history of archival thought. Ghaddar, the full program includes presentations from local and international scholars.

     

    You are warmly invited to attend. Transport will be provided between the recommended hotels and the university. Further registration information will be available soon. Please note that though the keynotes will be livestreamed, the conference itself will be fully in person and will not be recorded.
