The Society of American Archivists (SAA) has recently conducted a Job Task Analysis (JTA) to revise the body of knowledge, skills, and abilities required of a qualified Digital Archives Specialist (DAS). A panel of DAS experts worked diligently to update the job content to be as comprehensive, up-to-date, and congruent with what DAS certificate holders across the country do in their job role.
To help SAA continue to develop this research, please take this Validation Survey. The survey aims to receive feedback that the outcomes of the JTA mirror the lived experiences and job responsibilities of professionals actively involved in the field, such as yourself. The survey should take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
