Howdy, Annual Meeting attendees!
The SAA Preservation Section's NDRFA Silent Auction is only one week away!
There's something for everyone! This year's auction items include:
- artwork, such as photography, glasswork, and ceramics,
- a retreat at the Heartland Center for Spirituality,
- crochet work, knitting, embroidery, and jewelry,
- a subscription to dPlan|ArtsReady,
- gift cards and certificates, including archival products and services--and BBQ!
- a handmade clock,
- items from museum gift shops and bookstores,
- clothing and accessories,
- regional alcoholic beverages (of course);
- and more!
The Auction will open at 9 am Thursday, August 15, and close at 3:30 pm, Friday, August 16. You'll find us in the Buckingham Room near the registration desk, with the other organizational tables. Make sure to get those last bids in by 3:30pm on Friday!
All funds raised in the auction benefit the National Disaster Recovery Fund for Archives, which plays a vital role in supporting disaster recovery efforts within our archival community. Winners of auction items can donate their winning bid amounts by scanning a QR code that goes directly to the
NDRFA SAA Foundation webpage, where you can pay by credit or debit card. Sorry, but we cannot accept cash or checks.
