Preservation Section Coffee Chat
February 27th at 2 pm ET
Join us on February 27th to talk about community archiving projects! We will be joined by author Robert Elder and diary historian Sally McNamara Ivey who will share with us their fascinating endeavor to develop a public diary and letter archive. Not unsimilar to the Great Diary Project at Bishopsgate Institute in London, Elder and Ivey are partnering with fellow authors and historians to pool their collection of diaries, letters, and photographs from everyday people from the 1700s to the present into a community archive.
They are in the early stages of the project and would love to share their ideas and welcome thoughts and advice on the project.
